Helping make a difference

What We Do

  • Our primary focus is our engaging language classes, which we provide on a voluntary basis in different areas of the city. We also organise and implement community based projects.
  • We provide practical based vocational assistance in order to help our students practise and utilise the language that is learned in classes. The idea behind this is to help them, help themselves. Some of our students have formed tours, dance classes and also become teachers!
  • By bringing people from a variety of different countries and backgrounds to our projects, we are continually striving to create as many free cultural immersion and language exchange opportunities as possible.

How Can You Help?

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to our projects, regardless of the length of their stay in Medellin. There are two main ways in which you can get involved, the most popular being to participate in classes and to help people improve their English in the classroom environment by providing your assistance to our team of teachers.

Another way you can get involved is by pitching us your own project idea utilising your specific skillset or interests and we will try and find a way of getting it up and running. Our platform is based on working together and sharing ideas.

Our Projects

We currently have two volunteer projects up and running: one in the Comuna 13, at the top of the electric escalators in San Javier; and the other at the top of the metro cable in the barrio of Santo Domingo.

These projects are based around English learning and providing the opportunity for shared learning and self-realisation. If you are interested in getting involved, please check out our timetables and contact us to volunteer.
